One of Many Travels
I woke up this morning and my mum helped me have a shower, after I had got out of the shower, I sat on my bed and I thought that I may as well make use of the time I had while I waited for my mum to have a shower. So, I made my bed. First of all, I put my pillow on the floor to give me some more space because it made it easier to move around on my bed. Then I started to straighten my quilt out, starting from the bottom and working my way up, which was a challenge, but I did it! I only had to ask my mum for a little bit of help.
After that, I came downstairs on my stairlift, got dressed (with help, of course) and my mum helped me have a drink. By this time, my carers were here. After I had my morning drink, I told my carers what I wanted to do and got in my car and headed off out.
My mum dropped us off in Fareham because she needed to go into her work's office so it was easier to drop us off than get the bus. We had lunch at a restaurant called Slug and Lettuce, it is really nice there. In the summer, I like to eat outside because I feel there's more space outside. I am always aware of where my arms are going and I don't like sitting close to other people because I worry about hitting them by accident.
We had a look around the shops and I bought a manicure set in Boots because my college aren't really aloud to use their sets for me due to hygiene rules, so now, I have my own. After we had done everything in Fareham, we got the bus travel to the stop that is near to the shop called The Range to buy myself a set of mini drawers that I could easily open.
So all in all, I had a good and productive day.
