Why I Don't Want Prayers

Before I go any further, I would like to point out that this is not meant to be a rant at people who are religious, I just want to get my point across. I sometimes hear people that want to pray for people who have illnesses or disabilities.

In my opinion, there is no point in praying for me because, one; my disability will not change, it will not "get better", as some people would say. And two; it also will not get any worse. I think if you are religious, there are a lot of other prayers which could be more beneficial.
