Dear Granddad

Dear Granddad,

I know you probably won't see this, but I wanted to write it anyway to show how much I love you, so here goes... I know you won't remember me as much in a few months, but I love you anyway, and I know that you love me.

I remember your face so clearly, and your smile. I know you love dogs, and I'm sorry for accusing you of trying to hurt mine. Your diagnoses was a massive shock to everyone, including me, but that doesn't matter, because we love you.

I know you've struggled to hear me when I've spoken to you, but I know you have done your best... I know you have been proud of me, and I would like to thank you for believing in me.

I know you get frustrated a lot, and I can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like to you.

You will always be in my heart, no matter what.
