My Response to Those Disrespecting People With Disabilities

Hello and welcome back to Brains on Wheels. Today I would like to talk to you about how I would respond to those disrespecting people with disabilities, hence the title.

Right, where do I begin? First of all, no matter how or why it is done, I do not agree with it at all! If you take the mick out of a person's disability, it says a huge amount about you. As I have said in a previous post, I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a laugh, it depends on the other person.

One time I was in my Science class at school, I was sat listening to the teacher, and I think I was moving around more than I usually did. Then I noticed this boy who was mimicking my involuntary movements. At first I thought to myself no, he can't be, and then he did it again, but more violently this time. At the time this was very upsetting for me because I didn't think that he would do something like that. It was just the lowest of the low... Now, I realise he was being very immature, and I can laugh about it.

Anyway, I may not updating my blog as much from September because I will be back at college finishing off my level two qualification in IT and studdying for my English GCSE in November.

So, thank you for reading and I will see you next time... Remember to stay safe.
